This morning, Nathan came running down the hall, feet flying. His final destination was the bathroom. Then he backed up to my room, poked his head and said, "Mommy, when I call your name, come wipe my butt."
OH DEAR! That is HILARIOUS! He sounds like my oldest daughter...who still refuses to wipe her own bottom! Oh the joys of teaching a child to wipe their own butt!
Too funny! Why are there no chapters in the parenting books alerting us to the fact that right along with feeding and clothing, wiping is a major maternal responsibility even after diaper days are done? ;)
I stumbled onto your blog today, and I'm so glad I did. Your post made me laugh out loud. I have twin girls who are newly potty-trained, so this sounds pretty familiar.

Hi, just stumbled upon your blog. I've got b/b twins and I can so relate! But I'd rather help them out than let them do it themselves.
Come join us on http://justuseight.blogspot.com/ for two for Tuesday. I am sure you have a bunch of pictures of your twosome!
